AnonPaste released by Anonymous to beat cencorship

The rivalry is getting hot in the cyber space. After a series of breaches and demonstrations to mark the anger in the cyber space, hacktivist group Anonymous has come up with something different as to have a better reach in the cyber space. The group has created an alternative to Pastebin which was the primary site they had traditionally used to reveal details of their attacks. The list of benefits offered by AnonPaste includes the fact that connections are not logged and all the pastes are encrypted using 256-bit AES encryption. Moreover, the encryption is applied at browser level, which theoretically means that the site’s servers will not store any usable data. Anonymous members often publicize their activities on Twitter, but the microblog’s limit of 140 characters means they redirect users to much longer pastes elsewhere to share details of hijacked emails, passwords and other information.

The interesting thing as always is that every move towards censorship is being openly criticized by the hacktivist groups. In closed words, many IT evangelist around the world still don’t favor many international policies on internet censorship. Read the press release from here. Lets wait and see what new comes up after this. Till then watch this space for new security related news.
